“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Drew Sidora suffered a painful blow due to her divorce from ex Ralph Pittman.
A judge ordered the reality star to vacate her and Pittman’s marital home. She also temporarily lost primary custody of the couple’s shared children — son Machai, born in June 2015, and daughter Aniya, whom they welcomed in February 2018 — according to an amended temporary order. Obtained by TMZ.
The actress also has an 11-year-old elder son, Josiah, from a previous relationship.
Sidora has a May 31 deadline to officially leave the house, but due to “the parties’ current financial circumstances”, she and Pittman will continue to split household expenses until she leaves the house.
Both parents will continue to share legal custody of the children. However, Pittman – who was living in the basement of the property during their turbulent divorce – was given primary physical custody of the children during the school year.
Sidora will meet her children in an alternative weekend program starting in August. The judge reportedly based his ruling on the custody arrangements of Sidora and Pittman’s children after it was claimed that his children had excessive absences from school while Sidora had custody of them.
Pittman is now allowed to move freely throughout the house to get the children ready for school in the morning.
In response to the ruling, Sidora’s representative told the outlet in a statement: “This case is still being actively prosecuted, and is in the midst of a final hearing. The second temporary order is, in fact, temporary, and does not reflect the final outcome of the case.”
Pittman declined to share a comment with the outlet.
Page Six contacted both Sidora and Pittman, but did not immediately receive a response.
Sidora filed for divorce in March 2023 after almost nine years of marriage. Both exes claimed in their separate filings that their marriage was “irreparably broken”, which came within minutes of each other.
Months later, the Bravo celebrity confessed that she knew her marriage was over when their romantic problems “started happening on camera.”
At the time, she told People that the split was the result of “a culmination of things that should not happen in a marriage.”
“I think the inability to own it, the inability to apologize, the inability to work through it, the inability to care about my emotional state and the willingness to work and fix it, was very challenging,” Sidora explained.
The “Step Up” star finally reached her “boiling point” when her issues were later shared with viewers thanks to the Bravo reality series, leaving her feeling “embarrassed on top of what we were dealing with behind closed doors.”
