The four astronauts who flew on NASA’s Artemis II mission around the Moon have been welcomed back to planet Earth at an event in Houston, Texas.
Commander Reed Wiseman said the mission was “the most special thing I’ve ever done in my life”.
The astronauts — Wiseman, pilot Victor Glover, mission specialist Christina Koch and Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen — were all reunited with their families Saturday.
His nine-day journey took him further away from Earth than any human being in history.
