The Masters is one of the most prestigious annual golf tournaments, with the honor of wearing the champion’s green jacket one of the most coveted items in the game. Entering the 2026 Masters, which begins on Thursday, 18 golfers have earned that honor as a multi-time winner at least twice. Two of them will feature in the 2026 Masters field, one as a heavy favorite and the other as one of the hottest longshots for the 2026 Masters stakes. Scottie Scheffler, who won the Masters in 2022 and 2024, is a +500 favorite in the latest 2026 Masters odds, while Bubba Watson, who won in 2012 and 2014, is +50000 expected to win the Masters 2026.
After sweeping last year’s Masters to become just the sixth Grand Slam champion in history, McIlroy has his first chance to become the 19th multi-time Masters winner when the defending champions compete at Augusta National Golf Club. Trailing only Scheffler, Bryson DeChambeau (+1000) and Jon Rahm (+1000) in the latest golf betting odds, McIlroy has +1300 chances to repeat. Top 2026 Masters Expert Selection
One of Kanaan’s 2026 Masters predictions: Kanaan is fading Tyrell Hatton in the outright pick and wants to fade him in the head-to-head pick. Hatton has only one top-10 finish in eight Masters tournaments, missed the cut twice and finished outside the top 40 in five of those eight career Masters appearances. He has not earned a single win in 40 career majors and has only two top-five finishes at golf’s biggest tournaments. Over the past three years, he has finished 20th or worse in seven of his 12 major tournaments.
Hatton, 34 and now competing for LIV Golf, had only one PGA Tour win before leaving for LIV, winning the Arnold Palmer in 2020. Kanaan predicts Hatton will struggle in another major competition and perform worse than others in his handicap range this weekend.
“His play has been quite inconsistent on the LIV circuit this season, with finishes of 47-45 and 38, resulting in third and 10th-place finishes,” Kanaan told SportsLine. “The Masters, or indeed any major, is not receptive to instability in one’s current game. Remember, here we are dealing with 50-something players on LIV and Hatton is 44th in scrambling, 33rd in greens in regulation and 27th in putting average. Normally, I’d say Hatton deserves a top 20 finish but the way he plays on LIV “But having been all over the place this season, another missed cut at the year’s first major championship could be in Hatton’s near future.” See who Kanaan is supporting on SportsLine.
