Latest updates after Raw in MSG

highlighted

• Four new matches were confirmed, including a surprise addition that no one saw coming.
• A famous venue provided a moment that could have changed the course of the main event.
• A comeback has everyone wondering who is really pulling the strings.

Monday’s Raw from Madison Square Garden was explosive and eventful. Roman Reigns was then sent through a table and the card was completely revealed in April. Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi faced each other, but Triple H did not allow them to face each other.

At least four new matches have now been confirmed for the two-night event. Here’s what happened, what’s new and where the card is.

What new matches were added to WrestleMania 42?

I’m not sure which of the four newly added matches will be the biggest. It’s good to see Gunther get the spot after his planned feud with Rey Mysterio later had to pull out due to injury. That said, the IC Ladder Match could steal the show.

seth rollins Medically cleared and returned to attack Paul Heyman with a chair. Before he could stomp, gunther Pulled him out and choked him before pointing at the WrestleMania sign.

Finn Balor vs. Dominic Mysterio was also confirmed, as well as a ladder matching For Penta’s IC Title and a Fatal 4-Way for the Women’s Tag Titles.

What happened to Punk and Reigns?

We’re running out of new ways for Reigns and Punk to trade blows and throw punches before they actually face off in their match at WrestleMania 42. I thought we might see the match stipulations changed to Street Fight or maybe Bloodline rules. Maybe this will happen next week.

At the end of the show, Punk stopped Reigns. A brawl ensued, which ended with Punk hitting GTS with a powerbomb on the announce table. Last week, Reigns attacked Punk with the help of The Usos. The story of the tape is being made between these two.

What else happened at MSG?

The real focus on some matches is potentially built around the unknown. Who is Orton talking to on the phone? Vince McMahon is mentioned a lot, without actually saying his name. Could Vince be the man in Orton’s ear? This will go viral and open a can of worms.

Stephanie McMahon Returned and slapped Cody Rhodes and said he was not ready for “this version” of Orton.

The Vision (Logan Paul and Austin Theory) won the World Tag Team Titles from The Usos in a street fight with accidental interference from IShowSpeed.

Roxanne Perez returned to help Liv Morgan attack Stephanie Wacker. John Cena was announced as the host of WrestleMania.

Where does the full WrestleMania 42 card stand?

The WrestleMania 42 card is in great shape and has enough quality to spread across both nights. There are no spots yet for LA Night, The Usos and The Vision, but figures are subject to change. Additionally, US titles are also not in the queue. Maybe one or two more matches to come. We will see.
