the most extreme part of Excitement Season 3 focuses on Rue’s story. Zendaya is dealing guns, running drugs and managing a desert strip club. Chloe Cherry’s Faye is right there with her. In the premiere, Rue and Faye run drugs across the border, busting their butts to keep bags of fentanyl in their digestive tracts as long as possible. The scene where Rue and Faye swallow the bag is sad. As Rue Vo explains that a ruptured bag can cause a fatal overdose, Zendaya and Cherry KY put the bags around their necks with the help of jelly. They massage their throats on the balls like a swan being fattened to pluck. It sounds like a scary thing to shoot, but Cherry says it was the most fun she’s had on the show. “I had a lot of fun filming,” Cherry said at the Euphoria season 3 premiere. “It was fun for me to act out something that was so intense.”
Cherry described her process as follows: “Sam said ‘In this scene, I want to see that you’re really, really, really upset by this. And I said, ‘Okay.’ i was imagining If I was actually doing that, it would really hurt me. So then I was really hating what I was doing, but I just kept going. And then when we finished shooting the scene, everyone clapped. Everyone present on the set clapped for me. I’m serious.” We believe you, Chloe. We’re applauding you now. This was seriously disgusting.
