Faced with the prospect of letting another seemingly unassailable lead slip away, Arsenal are desperate to exorcise the demons that have plagued them with the tag for the past two decades.
But they are far from alone – indeed, the Gunners’ lapses have been much less dramatic than some of their rivals.
To help examine the top flight’s biggest wobblers who allowed the league to slip from apparently undisputed status, we enlisted the help of BBC Sport statistician Chris Collinson, who always tops his tables.
