Burns, meanwhile, will aim to prove he can maintain his position on the leaderboard when he makes his debut at 12:27 p.m.
Heading the chase pack is world No. 1 and two-time Masters champion Scottie Scheffler, who faced difficult conditions on Thursday afternoon but managed to shoot a 2-under 70. Also in the mix is 2018 champion Patrick Reed, who briefly held the lead at 5 under midway through his round but dropped back to 3 under with a 69 on Thursday. He will be back with Akshay Bhatia and Tommy Fleetwood – still in the red after 71 in the first round – at 1:08 pm

Rahm will look to surpass his opening 78 at 9:43 a.m., along with Chris Gotterup and Ludwig Aberg, who struggled to 74 after entering as one of the favorites. DeChambeau began his 10th Masters with a disappointing 76, and will face tough afternoon conditions with Matt Fitzpatrick and Xander Schauffele at a 1:20 p.m. tee time.
